Free quotation and estimate maker
Send a clear price offer in a minute: items, rates, GST, validity date and your terms, on one A4 page. When the customer says yes, turn it into an invoice with one click. No login, nothing sent to anyone.
How to make a quotation here
- Type your business details once. Name, address, state and GSTIN. Add a logo, signature and bank details under "Logo, signature and bank details" (handy when you ask for an advance). Next time, start typing your business name and pick it from the list.
- Choose Quotation or Estimate. A quotation is a firm price for a fixed time. An estimate is your best guess of the cost, which can change once the work starts. Each gets its own number series: QT/26-27/001 and EST/26-27/001.
- Set the validity date. Most businesses quote for 7, 15 or 30 days. After that date your prices are no longer promised.
- Add the customer and items. Saved customers and items appear as you type, with their last rate. Keep Show GST on this document ticked if you are registered, so the customer sees the full amount with tax.
- Add your terms, then Save. Payment, delivery, warranty, what is not included. Press Print / PDF for a PDF or Share to send it on WhatsApp.
- Customer says yes? Set the status to Accepted and press Make invoice. The invoice maker opens with everything filled in. Check it, save it, and the quotation shows "Invoice made" with the invoice number.
What it does for you
- The full price, worked out: CGST + SGST when the customer is in your state, IGST when they are in another state, UTGST for Union Territories without a legislature, with a tax summary by HSN.
- Quotation or estimate, each with its own number series that restarts every financial year, and a warning if a number is used twice.
- Track every offer: Waiting for reply, Accepted, Not accepted or Invoice made. Find any quotation by number or customer name.
- One click to invoice: no typing the same items twice. The invoice keeps the quotation number as its reference.
- In your language: pick from 24 languages at the top of the page. The printed quotation stays in English so any customer, purchase officer or bank can read it.
- Works offline once the page has opened, on phone and computer, and installs like an app from your browser menu.
Your data stays with you
Everything you type is kept in this browser on this device. There is no account and nothing is uploaded to us. Your businesses, customers and items are shared with the other Nivesh Sahayak document tools through my.niveshsahayak.in, so a customer you saved while making an invoice is already here.

Questions people ask
Is this quotation maker free?
Yes. Making, saving, printing and sharing quotations and estimates is free, with no login and no limit. A small line at the bottom of the printed page says where it was made.
Should a quotation show GST?
If you are GST-registered and the price will attract GST, show it: the customer sees the price, the tax and the total they will actually pay, so there is no surprise on the invoice. If you are not registered, untick Show GST on this document, because you cannot charge GST without a GSTIN. More in GST on a quotation.
Is a quotation a tax document?
No. A quotation is an offer. No GST becomes payable when you send it, and it does not go into your GST returns. Tax is charged on the tax invoice you issue when you supply the goods or services (or receive an advance for them).
Can I turn a quotation into an invoice?
Yes. Press Make invoice below the quotation, or in Saved quotations. The invoice maker opens with the same business, customer, items and rates, and the quotation number as its reference. You choose the invoice number and date there.
How long should a quotation be valid?
Long enough for the customer to decide, short enough that your costs don't change: 7 days when prices move fast (steel, cement, electronics), 15 to 30 days for services and fixed-price work. Write the date in Valid until; it prints at the top.
How do I make a PDF?
Press Print / PDF. In the print window choose Save as PDF as the printer. The file is named with the quotation number and the customer's name.
Can I revise a quotation after sending it?
Open it from Saved quotations, press Copy as new, change the rates or items and save. The revised one gets a new number, and the old one stays as it was, so you always know which version the customer saw. Mention "Revised quotation, replaces QT/26-27/004" in Notes.
